Reflection

Is it a resource problem—or an efficiency problem?

A reflective look at workload, capacity and the risks created when pressure becomes normal.

When teams are stretched, the immediate answer is often more people, more budget or more hours. Sometimes that is exactly what is needed. Sometimes the deeper issue is how work has accumulated and how priorities are being managed.

The distinction matters because sustained overload can hide resource gaps, while poorly designed work can make additional resource disappear into the same inefficiencies.

Good leadership creates enough space to step back, remove emotion from the diagnosis and consider the risks carried by the people who remain.
